Attackers are constantly advancing using sophisticated multiple tools to disrupt and disable business operations. How will the enterprise keep up? The days of being able to respond using traditional methods and tools are over. Enterprises need to take a fresh look at their cybersecurity strategies and tools to recalibrate if they hope to stand any chance in the battle of good versus evil!

John Menezes
John Menezes, a cybersecurity and information technology and innovator, entrepreneur and industry executive, has more than 20 years experience providing transformational security services to major Canadian companies. In 2014 John founded Stratejm, Canada’s first cloud-based Security-as-a-Service company and has in five years built it into North America’s premier consumption-based cybersecurity service provider. Stratejm’s state-of-the-art Cyber Intelligence Centre, located in Mississauga, is designed for proactive security monitoring and threat hunting. At Stratejm, some of Canada’s best cybersecurity talent are actively working to defend clients against malicious attacks and bad actors.

With Stratejm, John Menezes has demonstrated thought leadership by using cloud computing to create an operating model that helps enterprises to significantly enhance their security posture and reduce risk without the need for large investments in acquiring technology or hiring security experts.

Prior to Stratejm, In the year 2000 John Menezes founded Cyberklix, a pioneering managed security service provider. In ten years John grew Cyberklix into one of the largest and most respected security service providers in Canada. His dedication to strong governance, exemplary processes and customer focus allowed Cyberklix to help large retailers in Canada such as Sears, Sobeys, Loblaws, Canadian Tire and Canada Post implement processes and tools for PCI compliance. John was a key thinker and innovator in PCI and helped customers develop and implement strong programs. At its peak Cyberklix had a staff of 60 and achieved revenues of over $20M/year. Cyberklix was sold in May 2010 to The Herjavec Group.
