Pressure Continues to Do More With Less

A recent study from Fireye – www.fireye.com – shows that the average time from compromise to discovery of a security incident was 99 days in 2016 compared to 146 days in 2015.

While the time has been reduced dramatically, the pressure remains for the enterprise to do more with less when it comes to strengthening their security posture.

According to Tripwire – www.tripwire.com – skills gaps remain for trained infosec personnel. A large problem revolves around security professionals overwhelmed with data consisting of superfluous alerts and non-actionable information.

Consequently, organizations are often faced with limited resources and/or inexperienced personnel to handle their digital defenses.
