Safety and Security Drone Sales To Reach $250 Million in 2019

The Freedonia Group – www.freedoniagroup.com – has released a new study on the US safety and Security drone marketplace. In 2016, sales reached $90m for products and services used by commercial and consumer end users and excludes military drone use. The study projects sales to nearly double by 2019 reaching $250m. Key factors cited include the integration of drones into existing security systems and services; declining equipment costs; ongoing development of specialized solutions and additional applications and expanding capabilities of drone systems to gather crucial data for safety and security applications.
