Motorola to Acquire Avigilon
Motorola Solutions (NYSE:MSI) recently announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire Vancouver-based Avigilon (TSX: AVO) in an all-cash transaction.
Motorola Solutions Chairman and CEO Greg Brown says that the “acquisition will bring Avigilon’s advanced video surveillance and analytics platform to the rapidly evolving public safety workflow while also expanding our portfolio with new products and technologies for commercial customers.
