Global Survey Identifies Cyber Security Needs
ObserveIT – www.observeit.com – released their findings from 600 global IT leaders which highlighted the need for clear cyber security protocols and investment in employee training and monitoring.
The ObserveIT study says that employees can be a prime channel for information loss by neglect or malicious actions. Organizations need to prioritize training programs to ensure safe user activity.
The survey found that 43% of companies to not have a policy that prohibits staff from taking IP data with them when leaving the company. Plus, 67% of respondents said that remote work is allowed and that 42% of contractors/freelancers use their own personal devices for their work activity.
