Study Says Data Protection Remains a Challenge
Dell EMC – www.dellemc.com – recently conducted a survey on data protection and found that data protection adopters has increased nearly 50%. However in Canada, many of the respondents are struggling to protect their data.
In Canada, about 72% of businesses experienced some sort of disruption over the last year and 16% said that the experience led to irreparable data loss.
The report said that 88% of the Canadian respondents faced at least 1 challenge in relation to their data protection. One of the biggest challenges cited was the increasing costs of storing and maintaining backup due to the rapid growth in data.
