OpenText to buy Carbonite Inc.
OpenText – www.opentext.com – has announced a US$1.42B deal to acquire Carbonite Inc., a cloud-based company with data protection, disaster recovery and end-point security solutions for a variety of customers.
OpenText, headquartered in Waterloo, Ontario, provides enterprise software information management software which helps companies digitize processes and supply chains in order to gain more efficient operations.
