University of Ottawa to Open Cyber Research Hub
The University of Ottawa – www.uottawa.ca – has teamed up with IBM Canada – www.ibm.com/ca – to open a cybersecurity research hub.
The Cybersecurity hub will be based at uOttawa and will look to deliver critical security innovation, training and expertise with a view to help grow Canada’s skilled cybersecurity workforce.
The hub will pair IBM’s technology expertise in data analytics, deep learning, software and systems with uOttawa’s research, training and teaching strengths.
The hub will also host and exchange senior technical and research staff with the IBM Ottawa Lab and will work closely with IBM Security experts located in Canada and around the world.
