The promotion of our profession is everyone's business
"If CANASA does not promote our trade, no one will do it for us, it is essential that we act" is the unanimous conviction of the members of the CANASA-Quebec Regional Council.
The council, like the members, is very concerned about the current situation; the shortage of manpower versus an increasingly low number of security technician graduates is a situation that does not help to increase qualified electronic security technicians. This problem is the challenge that the CANASA-Quebec regional council is willing to address.
Target of $15,000 for the 2022-2023 campaign
In February 2022, CANASA Quebec conducted a $2000 social media campaign that generated a lot of interest in the DEP 5296 IESS (Installation and Maintenance of Security Systems) course. This result convinced the board members to maintain our presence on social networks and to increase the frequency and duration of the campaign.
June 2022: CANASA National adds $3,000 to start the fall campaign.
