Oakley Alarms Ltd, a proud Manitoba company serving the communities electronic security needs for over 20 years. We are looking for a security technician to install and service residential and commercial security technology. A service vehicle will be provided along with mobile phone compensation to perform work functions.

Installing/servicing a variety of security devices including intrusion systems camera systems Troubleshooting aspects of security technology including IP networks, and working with manufacturers technical support Provide customer support and training on use of alarm and camera systems Organize manage installations of camera projects in teams or independently

Fluently speak, read and write English (other languages would be an asset) Previous experience in alarm, electronic, or electrical installations would be an asset Knowledge of Honeywell Vista and Lynx products would be an asset Understanding of IP networks Have understanding of electrical theory including, AC/DC electronics, electrical resistance and wire sizing Have a class 5 drivers license A class M electricians license would be an asset Be able to climb a 10’ step ladder Able to lift 50lb.
