Kim Caron, Director-Business Development at Armstrong’s National Alarm Monitoring
Kim CaronKim began her career in the alarm industry in 1988 at a monitoring station. Over the years, she has worked for a small business, a large corporation and a not-for-profit association. Working her way up from an entry level position, Kim was able to gain experience in many areas of the industry including monitoring, service, installation, customer service and sales. Presently, Kim is the Director of Business Development for Armstrong's National Alarm Monitoring. She is also the National Chair of CANASA's Central Station Committee, and is a Director of the Security Industry Alarm Coalition (SIAC).

Kelly Hine, Orion
Kelly Hine is a proven security industry expert with over 25 years of related industry experience.

Starting as an entry level 911 Operator, she quickly became immersed into an industry focused on life safety and the protection of assets.

She progressed into a leadership role with Voxcom, where she became responsible for creating an alarm monitoring station.  Kelly was responsible for the creation and implementation of policies and procedures.

She was quickly promoted to grow the Voxcom business by building a Dealer Network program across Canada.

To satisfy her love for technology, Kelly then moved into a technology distribution and sales with ADI and ran a very successful branch in Edmonton for 8 years. This role allowed her to sit at the forefront of a constantly evolving technical industry.

Kelly then proceeded to establish a new model for distribution in Live Video Monitoring.
Orion Monitoring, a true Live Video Monitoring provider for dealers only,  has become Kelly’s perfect channel to consolidate her sales and technology skills.

Kelly’s experience, expertise and her passion for this industry enables her to assist her new and existing dealers grow their businesses offering them a stable recurring revenue opportunity.

Her key motivation is to work, hands on, along side her Dealers to build their business and watch them become successful as they learn and understand the value this LIVE service offers to clients.

PATRICK SOO – Director of Sales – ALARM.COM
Patrick SooPatrick Soo is a 26 year industry veteran. Patrick has experience in several channels, serving the top companies in the security industry. From Chubb, Honeywell, the ADT Authorized Dealer Program, Monitronics, 2GIG and Alarm.com. Patrick was also Co-founder and CEO of Lifeline Fire and Security based in Honolulu, HI.

For the past several years, Patrick has been in roles where he has focused on the market trends around home automation, smart-home, the Internet of Things, connected home technology and interactive services. Patrick is Alarm.com’s first Canadian based employee and in his role as Director of Sales he is responsible for business development and driving adoption of Interactive Services exclusively through their technology partners and the Canadian dealer channel.
