February 22 – CANASA Golden Horseshoe Regional Council Breakfast Meeting took place at the Holiday Inn Burlington Hotel & Conference Centre with 43 attendees, it was an interesting session of networking and learning about Security Solution Connectivity. We would like to thank our sponsor: Hammond Manufacturing, guest speaker: Peter Leupen, Fancom and the Golden Horseshoe Regional Council Members that made this event a success: Joseph Rossano (L’Aquila Electronic Systems Inc.), Kevin Allison (Fire Monitoring of Canada Inc.), Roger Barnes (Roger’s Security Systems Inc.), Gene Blahut (PCS), Anna de Jager (Lanvac Surveillance Inc.), Paul Grossinger (SP&T New – Securite Quebec – Canadian Security), Scott Hammond (Hammond Manufacturing), David Lopinski (David Lopinski Electronic Ltd.) and Michael Polo (Hall Telecommunications Supply Ltd.).


March 2 – CANASA Central Ontario Regional Council Breakfast Meeting took place at Jack Astor’s Bar & Grill. With 35 in attendance it was an informative educational session, the first in a three part series on Change Management. This first session focused on The Myths of Change with expert speaker Peter de Jager. March 29 – CANASA Southwestern Ontario Regional Council Meeting with the London Police Service to discuss the “Implications of New Verified Response Program”. The meeting was held at London Police Services with over 80 attendees it was an informative session. We would like to thank: London Police Services, for continuing to work with CANASA and the Southwestern Ontario Regional Council Members that made this event possible: Brian Gibbs (Damar Security Systems), Angelo Bucciarelli (Freedom 55 Financial & Quadrus Investments Services Ltd.), Al Herrington (Progarde Security Inc.), Robert Hoevenaars (Alarmtech Security Systems Inc.), Christopher Kennedy (Hudson Entry and Automation), and Mark Smith (JPW Systems Inc.).
