Requirement to provide alarm company
identification number and name at time of dispatch
Effective
January 1, 2013, Central Monitoring Stations are required to be
registered with Toronto Police Service prior to requesting police
response to an alarm signal. In addition, the Central Monitoring Station
is also required to provide the following information on each alarm
dispatch request:
- Alarm Company Identification Number
- Premise Identification Number
- Premise Name and Street Address
- Verification
