• Standard work hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm (some on-call may be required)
  

Expectations for Success:

• Install and service security, access control, and camera systems
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, operational and product manuals
• As an ambassador of Falcon Security, provide exceptional on-site and remote customer service
• Complete all necessary paperwork and work orders with accuracy and in a timely manner
• Comply with all Occupational Health and Safety standards and company policies
• Maintain a safe and clean work site environment
• Demonstrate punctuality and dependable work ethic
• Complete training as assigned and identify knowledge gaps to facilitate training opportunities
• Collaborate with the sales department as a technical knowledge resource

What you Bring:

• 3 – 5 years’ experience installing, programming, and servicing commercial and residential security systems including wired and wireless devices, card readers, etc.
• Experience installing, programming, and servicing access control systems
• Experience installing wired camera systems, programming DVR units, and setting up web-based video software
• Proficient in troubleshooting various security and access control system service issues
• Highschool diploma (CANASA – ATC Security Alarm Certificate considered an asset)
• CFAA certification considered a valuable asset
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
• Clean criminal background check
• Ability to obtain Secret Clearance (sponsored by the employer)
• Valid G license and clean driving abstract
• Comfortable in construction, commercial, and residential environments
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and problem-solving skills
• High-level time-management, organizational and prioritization abilities
• Ability to work both independently and in a team setting
• Ability to work at heights, confined spaces, all weather conditions (training provided)
