Responsibilities |
- Knowledgeable in card access control systems
- Installation, service and termination of IP based and analog CCTV systems, Intercom systems, card access systems and intrusion systems
- Must have knowledge of several manufacture’s equipment
- Train Clients on Wincon’s security systems
- Connection of Cat 5/Cat 6 communication cables
- Capable of working with networks in conjunction with Client’s IT Department
- Knowledge of the ULC installations and service
- Locate and alleviate trouble with damaged equipment or wiring
- Programming of various security related platforms
• Assist with the start-up of new equipment or system installation and make adjustments as needed to ensure the system is operational
- Perform scheduled, routine preventive maintenance on a variety of equipment / systems under contract agreement by inspecting, adjusting, cleaning and calibrating systems
- Follow general instructions, sometimes in forms of drawings to complete the physical and electrical installation of all components of security, intercom, network and other systems
- Submits reports and make recommendations to the Team Leader
- Promotes, builds, and maintains good customer relations and assists with contract retention
- Participates when requested in the On-Call service
- Keeps up-to-date of changes and new developments in products and technology
- Climb ladders that extend up to 24 ft. in height and carry items up to 35 kg (75 pounds)
- Attends and completes training programs as requested
