The TELUS Custom Security & Systems (TCSS) team is bringing the power of our smart-technology and automation to life by standardizing and expanding our national capabilities and providing custom solutions for both our customers’ homes and business. You will be the go-to resource on our team to for developing business security solutions, providing subject matter expertise to a broad group of internal stakeholders and participate in internal and external working groups. In this role you will work with our customers and our sales team to assess customer needs, demo product capabilities, and design custom solutions for our customers. Once we sign the deal, you will support knowledge transition to post-sales implementation and delivery teams to ensure successful delivery of projects.

Your daily activities will include collaborating with our potential customers and internal sales teams to design security solutions based on our customer's technology and business needs and supporting our delivery team with any necessary knowledge transfer of the solutions you've designed. To succeed in this role, you will bring your passion for security and demonstrated experience in technical solution consulting. You’ll be self-motivated, have a proactive approach to work, and able to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

• You have a knack for communicating complex technical design in a way that is easy to understand
• You're a whiz at navigating matrix organizations to get things done on tight timelines.
• You have a strong technical background in security systems including: Video, Access Control, CCTV and Monitoring
• You have demonstrated ability to develop technical recommendations, solutions, and proposals to meet customer requirements
• You can communicate the solution design and value to key decision makers
• You have an ability to collaborate with internal team members to prepare customer proposals
