What you will do:

The Service & Installation Technician will install, test and program security systems.

Service required in this position may be to troubleshoot alarm panels, CCTV systems, and Card Access systems.

This position may also (on occasion) be required to collaborate/supervise the work of sub-contractors.

How you will do it:

The Technician will be responsible for (if required):

• Surveying sites prior to installation
• Booking in/out of Operations centre
• Testing and commissioning of systems to Operations centre
• Installation and programming of Access Control, CCTV, and Intrusion systems
• Installation of cable and conduit
• Training of the end user
• Locate and alleviate trouble with damaged equipment or wiring
• Work on a customer network
• Service, Install, and programming of Access Control, CCTV, and Intrusion systems
• Inspection of existing systems
• Prioritizing service tickets and meeting various customer required SLA

What we look for Required Education:

• High School diploma, prefer Electronic Technician Certificate or Computer Networking Courses Commitment to upgrading and continuing their education

Skills:

• Must be computer literate
• Fluent English language written and verbal skills, demonstrated superior people and telephone skills, excellent organizational skills and the ability to work well under pressure are essential
• Mechanical aptitude and be able to use hand and power tools
• The ability to meet deadlines and commitments and to adjust/adapt to new ideas and procedures is necessary
