Reporting to the CEO, the Manager of Sales & Marketing, as a member of the Commissionaires Manitoba Leadership Team will provide leadership in all business related activities including the development of strategic, business and communications plans which will lead to the successful implementation and growth of business initiatives, contributing to the achievement of the mission, vision and goals of Commissionaires Manitoba and ensure Commissionaires Manitoba provides a quality security service that is the standard for the industry.

Provide strategic leadership and support to the overall management process and corporate decision-making by contributing to the development, refinement and implementation of the marketing, communications and operational plans. Ensure efficient and effective marketing, advertising, communications and promotional planning for new and existing product and service lines. Budget and manage the Marketing resources. Respond to Requests for Proposal, contract renewal and new contract development. Maintain and develop an organizational culture, values and reputation in all markets and with all staff, customers, suppliers, partners and regulatory/official bodies. Identify soft skills training needs.

• Demonstration of sales expertise and market development
• Experience in business, communications and marketing in the public sector, security, military and/or policing industry
• Superior interpersonal, communication and effective problem solving skills
• Fluency in both official languages an asset
• Knowledge of security industry, and government (provincial and federal) legislation, regulations and policies
• Knowledge of commercial alarm and camera monitoring systems
