We are currently recruiting for a Coordinator, CCTV & Door Access Technology to work with Security Operations, Department of Community Safety for this exciting opportunity.
Are you a professional in the field of Security Services with management/leadership experience? In this role, you will serve as the University expert in CCTV, door access, intrusion alarm and related electronic security installations and systems. In accordance with University, industry and legislative standards, plans and coordinates the delivery of CCTV, door access, intrusion alarm and other technological services to the York University community through various means and methodologies. Facilitates and leads installation projects and service delivery Manages the alarm monitoring database, CCTV viewing and recording infrastructure as well as the access control electronic database system and related card issuance and activation.

Qualifications |
To be considered for this opportunity, you will possess:
University degree or equivalent in training, experience and education in a Security or related industry. Physical Security Professional and/or Crime Prevention through Environmental Design (CPETD) certificate an asset. In addition, the successful incumbent will possess Minimum three (3) years related experience, preferably in a university environment or public service area, including responsibilities in a unionized environment. Minimum two (2) years functional knowledge of door access, CCTV, intrusion alarm systems and related systems, and database management required. Minimum one (1) year experience managing Human, Financial and Operational Resources. Experience managing in a unionized environment required.
