Progressive, well-established Cambridge based company seeks energetic, customer service driven, team player for position of Security System Installations and Service Technician for Waterloo / Wellington / Hamilton areas

| Responsibilities |
Technician shall provide technical hands on installation, service and programming of low voltage systems including Access Control, Video, Security Systems etc. Responsibilities include situations requiring working alone or as part of an installation team
|
| Qualifications |
- Familiar with different types of Access Systems, proximity and smart card technologies, also IP and Analogue Cameras, Wire, Fiber, R.F. Understanding of basic electronics and knowledge of personal computers and Internet applications. More extensive computer knowledge would be a plus.
- Knowledge of and be able to interpret and follow installation drawings, schematics, technical manuals, system configurations sheets/designs, or other technical reference documents.
- Shall have working knowledge and testing skills using common tools of the trade including but not limited to hand tools, meters and probes.
- Demonstrate the ability to document installations and troubleshooting when required.
- Familiar with: DSC, G.E. Security, Keyscan, Kantech, Verex, Geovision and others.
