Description |
Be responsible for installing, repairing, servicing, inspecting burglar alarm systems, card access, fire alarm devices, CCTV systems and other low voltage systems.
Will be responsible for assisting in the instructions of subscribers in operational procedures and care of equipment.
Be well informed and up-to-date on all current codes and regulations concerning the security and low voltage industry.

Responsibilities |
- Perform installation, troubleshooting, commissioning, and maintenance activities related to alarm detection systems, door/access control systems, public address/intercom systems, CCTV systems, and control & display systems
- Maintenance service for alarm systems, being on call 24/7
- Participate in on call emergency hours as needed and take part in the normal on-call rotation for after-hours service
- Proficient in using computers to write reports
- Provide customer with informative summary of work to be done or recommendations for alarm system following inspection
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, schematics, and operational/product manuals
- Inspect the installation of equipment to meet customer specifications
- Provide consistently high levels of customer service
- Must be proficient in the applicable ULC standards, building, fire and electrical codes
