E-Flash & E-Flyers
You’ll receive an E-Flash, an informative synopsis of national industry events, CANASA initiatives and events in your local chapter. Industry-wide issues are brought to you as soon as they happen. E-Flyers are also an effective way for us to communicate to our members about news, special events and promotions that CANASA is offering like golf tournaments, education products, Security Canada trade shows and events that affect CANASA members, such as new and proposed regulations.
Customer Publications
We currently offer two pamphlets specifically for you to use for your customers. These popular brochures are valuable leave-behind pieces, giving you an extra marketing edge. Home Security Control at your Fingertips is a general introduction to alarm systems with an emphasis on the value of hiring a CANASA member. This full colour pamphlet has room for you to personalize with your company name and logo. How to Have Zero False Alarms is a great overview of the false alarm issue for your customers. This easy-to-follow guide not only helps your customers prevent false alarms, but also gives you another opportunity to add value to your customer service. Both are available in French and English. CANASA has an ongoing working relationship with the industry’s most important trade publications and consumer media across Canada. These relationships ensure that CANASA messages are being heard and that the issues affecting you are being communicated to the right audience. Requests by media are often referred to CANASA member companies for information on a specific issue, product or service. A great opportunity to raise your profile within the industry.

The website is a useful resource and advantage of CANASA membership. Brochures & Guidelines
An updated pamphlet specifically for dealers entitled ‘False Alarm Reduction Tips’ will help you install dependable, quality and trouble-free systems. Our two popular brochures for customers, ‘Home Security Control at your Fingertips’ and ‘How to Have Zero False Alarms’ are available to download and print from the CANASA website, along with the ‘False Alarm Reduction Tips’ brochure. Another benefit of your membership is access to CANASA’s recommended installation guidelines. We offer recommended 'Installation Guidelines for Use with CCTV', and a recommended 'Privacy Policy Procedures to Implement’ Guideline.
