Code of Ethics
The present Code of Ethics
of the Canadian Security Association (the ‘Code’) is adopted by the members of the Association in order to outline the principles that shall govern the conduct of its members and to ensure their full commitment to the achievement of the Association’s mission and objectives.
Trade and industry associations provide valuable services to their members including: market research, education and training, public and government relations, and collection/distribution of industry statistics. Industry associations are an assembly of competitors. Particular care needs to be taken to ensure that there can be no suggestion that the industry association engages in any form of anti-competitive
behaviour or cartel activity.
