Hear a distinguished panel of women security professionals as they explore the barriers and opportunities facing women in order to facilitate a more inclusive and diversified industry.

             


Women continue to be under represented in the security industry making up only 10% of the workforce according to a recent Frost & Sullivan study.

CANASA has brought together a panel of women industry leaders to share their experiences, expertise and to explore solutions to the challenges facing women in the security industry.

Topics to be explored include:

  • Challenges and barriers women encounter
  • What opportunities are available to increase interest in a career in security
  • What advice can women executives offer to those in the industry.

Guest Panelists:

Tracy Bello

Tracy Bello is a Business Development Manager with G4S Secure Integration. She is a veteran in the security industry with her career spanning over 30 years. Tracy has worked in communications, customer service and inside and outside sales. For the last 20 years, she has been in territory and national sales. Tracy enjoys the experience of having started from the bottom learning and knowing there are growth opportunities within the company. She has received the President’s Club and Merit Awards.

Kristin Crowe
Kristin Crowe is President and Co-owner of Alarm Systems, Belleville, ON and Falcon Security, Brockville, ON. Both companies are full service integrators operating ULC Listed, 5 Diamond Certified Central Station in Belleville, ON. Kristin has experience in both security and non-related businesses in her organization’s portfolio. She has recently turned her full attention to the security industry and is excited about the future and how women can play a pivotal role. Kristin has a passion for giving back to her communities and has received many accolades for her leadership, volunteerism and philanthropy.

Joanne Rowe
Joanne Rowe is a 25-year veteran at ADI Global and currently serves as branch manager at the company’s Toronto Location. A well-known leader and motivator in the Canadian security industry, Joanne organizes ADI Toronto’s annual expo as well as representing the company at industry events and trade shows. She spearheads charitable fundraisers on behalf of the ADI office, helping to support local food banks, women’s shelter, homeless shelters, terminally ill children and breast cancer awareness. Joanne was recognized in SP&T News Hall of Fame issue in 2018.
