James Feltmate has 20 years of experience in the door hardware, security and life safety industries. He is a certified door hardware and automatic door consultant, certified fire opening and egress inspector and is an electrified hardware code consultant and specification writer.
James is deeply familiar with the NBCC and NFPA 80 code requirements, current code requirements for automatic doors, security and fire doors and stairwell re-entry doors and multi-housing access control solution and code requirements. He has also worked extensively with the local AHJ.
