Join us for networking and a sessions on network security. Most security networks have little or no network security. There are numerous explanations for how this happened and chief among them is that IT Security vendors have not provided workable solutions for security or OT networks. Fortunately there are features of a conventional security network that make other solutions possible.

Speaker: John Day
John is a 30 year veteran of the security industry, having worked as an independent manufacturer’s agent serving Central Canada for the bulk of that time. He is passionate about security system design and technical sales and is actively interested in network security. John has completed several Cisco CCNA networking certifications which led him to take a more critical look at how network security is not applied to most security networks. John has been a programmer for the past decade, originally using Python in a Linux environment but then later using C#, .Net, UWP and UI3 in a Windows environment.

John has spent the last few years watching the disconnect between the IT Security Industry and the Security Industry grow ever wider. This disconnect has stunted the security industry’s ability to fill a critical gap in our service offering and spurred John’s passion for developing network security products that meet the needs of the security marketplace. In 2019 John partnered with Jeff Leite to launch LMN Software Corp, manufacturer of EdgeSentry – an appliance for securing security networks.

Pre-registration required. Deadline for registration is Thursday, April 17, 2025. All payments must be made prior to the event.

Event Cancellation Policy
Payment is due two weeks prior to the event, or date of registration if less than two weeks from the event. Registrations cancelled less than two weeks from the event date will not be refunded.
