 Description

As part of the 2021-2022 Paladin Technologies expansion plan a redundant bi-lingual ULC alarm monitoring center is being designed in Ottawa. This position will be instrumental in providing operational direction & support in this new center. Starting as a remote worker while the center is under construction, the candidate will be key in staffing, providing supervision & training resources for personnel.

 Duties and
 Responsibilities

Quality Control

  • Alarm handling, video verification and inbound call reviews.
  • Statistical analysis & documentation of station metrics.
  • Review of staffing metrics for operational efficiencies.

Staffing Support

  • Pre-screen, interview and onboard new candidates.
  • Coach, supervise & support front line staff members.
  • Participate in 90 action plan, merit & annual performance reviews.

Operational Support

  • Participate in the design & support of the new center.
  • Provide support to front line staff in support of the monitoring KPI.
  • Participate in the Operational On-call rotation.
 Qualifications
  • Bilingualism (French & English) is required.
  • Ability to lead and supervise a team effectively.
  • Ability to work remotely.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and time management.
  • Strong computer and technical call centre aptitude.
  • Previous supervision experience in alarm monitoring centre is considered an asset.
  • Flexibility to work within a 24-hour workplace.
  • Exercise mental flexibility and situational awareness within a team-based environment.
