Brigadier Security Systems is currently seeking a full-time Security Technician. This is an exciting opportunity to join an award-winning, long-standing, and industry leading security company. Brigadier Security is looking for a technician with a wide range of experience and knowledge who is looking for an opportunity to join our team.

We are looking for someone with the following skills:

• Technical competence and experience in one or more of the following areas: residential and commercial alarm systems, access control, video, IT and Networking
• Understanding of simple electronics. Able to design and build a simple circuit from a combination of parts such as relays, timers, strobes and power supplies.
• Ability to learn and grow as the industry evolves.
• Hardware and software installation, system maintenance and customer training.
• Ability to configure, diagnose and troubleshoot a wide variety of systems and networks.
• Confidence on a wide variety of job sites including residential, commercial and industrial locations.
• Professional communication skills, appearance and demeanor. Our customers should be reassured by your professionalism, confidence and knowledge. We are professionals and our technicians must exemplify that. You must be able to clearly communicate in both spoken and written form.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• A Valid Drivers License with good driving record, and able to pass a Criminal Record Check
• Able to work in a COR Certified environment. As a COR certified company, Brigadier Security employees are required to follow strict guidelines for safety and documentation. Technicians must able to work using safety gear (hard hat, steel toed footwear, fall harness) as well as be able to work from ladders and lifts.
• Ability to travel within Saskatchewan on projects
