For 50+ years, QSA has helped hospitals, schools, government facilities, and commercial buildings across Atlantic Canada stay safe, compliant, and connected. We install and service nurse call, fire alarm, access control, CCTV, PA/intercom, and monitoring systems - critical life safety and communications infrastructure our communities rely on.

We’re growing our footprint across NB, PEI, NS, and NL and modernizing our commercial engine. This role is central to that growth.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive base salary
  • Commissions (new + expansion revenue)
  • Health, dental, and vision RRSP matching
  • Paid vacation + flexibility
  • Company vehicle or allowance
  • Training + manufacturer certification support

Location and Travel

  • Based in Atlantic Canada (Fredericton preferred).
  • Regional travel required, with some overnights and occasional North American trips
 Responsibilities

This role is a blend of proactive outbound sales, hands-on customer success and commercial process building. You won’t just bring in business — you’ll help shape how QSA sells, tracks, and communicates going forward.

You’ll spend your time:

  • Reaching out to facility managers, contractors, and institutional clients
  • Identifying upcoming upgrades, replacements, and service needs
  • Supporting and growing existing accounts
  • Bringing QSA’s trusted, local service to more customers across the region
  • Helping build internal structure and tightening the loop between sales, service, and marketing

You’ll report directly to the President of QSA, with a meaningful opportunity to influence and build our future commercial function.

What You'll Do

Outbound Sales

  • Build and manage a strong outbound pipeline across NB, PEI, NS, and NL
  • Drive consistent weekly activity (calls, emails, outreach, site visits)
  • Hit targets for qualified opportunities, pipeline value, and closed-won revenue
  • Conduct discovery, walkthroughs, and scoping for upgrades, replacements, and new installs
  • Prepare clear proposals and manage deals from first touch to close

Customer Success for Existing Accounts

  • Be a trusted point of contact for hospitals, schools, property managers, and other commercial clients
  • Maintain regular check-ins to stay ahead of aging systems and compliance cycles
  • Identify expansion and lifecycle replacement opportunities
  • Convert install customers into recurring service, monitoring, and inspection agreements
  • Work closely with Inside Sales, PMs, and Service to ensure a strong customer experience

Improve How We Sell

  • Keep CRM clean and forecasting accurate
  • Help standardize a simple, repeatable sales process
  • Flag bottlenecks across quoting, scheduling, or communication

Close the Loop into Marketing

  • Share common customer questions, objections, and system needs
  • Recommend useful tools (checklists, guides, case studies, lifecycle materials)
  • Provide insights on demand patterns to help guide marketing priorities
  • Offer field insights that shape campaigns, events, and customer stories

What You Bring

  • Proven success in outbound B2B sales or account management
  • A builder’s mindset - you create structure, improve processes, and take initiative
  • Hunger to help grow and modernize QSA’s commercial function
  • Clear, relationship-driven communication that fits Maritime business culture
  • Discipline with CRM use, forecasting, and follow-through
  • Curiosity to learn technical systems (training provided)
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate closely with the team
  • Comfort with regular travel across NB, PEI, NS, and NL, and occasional North American travel when needed
