CANASA elects new President

CANASA President 2017-2019

April 27, 2017, Laval, Quebec – It is with great pleasure that we announce Ellery Demedash as CANASA's newly elected President for the 2017-2019 term. Ellery is the owner of E2 Security, which provides installation and maintenance services for security systems, access control and cameras. Prior to founding E2 Security, Ellery worked as a Private Investigator for Quest Security, and was a military member of PPCLI for 8 years. Ellery was President of CANASA's Manitoba Chapter (now Prairie Regional Council) for four years, on which he served as Past President, Vice President, and Regional Representative as well. Ellery also served on CANASA's National Executive Committee.

Gordon Hebb has been elected as Vice-President 2017-2019. Gordon is a Regional Manager with Anixter Tri-Ed Distribution, covering Atlantic Canada and has been involved with the security industry dating back to 1997. Starting at SSI 2000 fresh out of Electronic Engineering School, after many roles he eventually earned his spot as Branch Manager at Tri-Ed Distribution in 2002. He has been an active board member with CANASA since 2001.

Richard McMullen, CANASA President from 2015-2017 and will now serve as Past President for 2017-2019. Richard joined FCi as Partner - Security Solutions in 2006 following a successful 20 year career with Honeywell/ADT Security Services Canada Inc. Richard served two terms as CANASA Ottawa Sub-Chapter President from 2009-2013 while also serving on the Ontario Board.
