Update on Electronic Transmission Gateway
Quebec City is on schedule to complete an electronic gateway in which monitoring stations will be invited to join in order to send intervention requests to police dispatch at the 9-1-1 service. Central monitoring stations will be responsible for their internal cost to implement and access the gateway. The section of By-law 883 pertaining to the use of the electronic gateway come into effect on January 1, 2019.
