CANASA Urges Government of Canada to Modify the Canada Emergency Wage Subsidy (CEWS)
April 3, 2020 - In response to feedback from our members, the following letter regarding
the Federal CEWS program, is being sent out to politicians, media and
fellow associations through CANASA and posted on all of our social media
as well as Annex’s social media and websites.
While many companies within the Canadian Security
Industry have already suffered revenue losses in excess of the 30%
threshold (equipment manufacturers, distributors, installing dealers,
etc.) and will qualify for the subsidy, there are significant sectors
within the industry that will not currently qualify.
